When you register or sign up for my Services

You may register for my Services in order to save searches, sign up for alerts, access my real estate resources, and for other features which may be added from time to time. You may be registered for my Services automatically when you contact RE/MAX regarding a property or inquire about my Services. If you register for my Services, I collect Personal Information such as your first and last name, email, user name, password and any other Personal Information required on the registration form/process. If you wish, you may provide me with your phone number and a postal code. I primarily use this information to provide information you have requested, manage and correspond with you, send you information and newsletters related to real estate markets and/or other information I think may interest you, and for other matters described in this Policy. 

Newsletters, Inquiries and Emails 
I may offer newsletters and/or other communications to share information with you about real estate, helpful guides and information, and other topics or offers in which I believe you may be interested. You may sign up to receive information about a property or to join my general mailing list. If you inquire regarding a property, I will contact you regarding that or related properties to the extent related to your inquiry. In addition, if you indicate that a property is one of your “favorites,” you may automatically be placed on a list to receive email updates regarding that property. 

Cookies and other tracking technologies 
This is to confirm that no cookies or other tracking technologies are used by me nor implemented when you access my web site.

If you contact me through the Services. 
You may contact me with questions about my services, real estate or other matters. How I Share Information

General.  You may request to receive information relating to third parties who are not affiliates or franchisees of RE/MAX or our Affiliates (such as mortgage brokerage partners, banks, or one of our partners, sponsors or service providers). In the event you request information from, or request to be contacted by such a third party, we will share your Personal Information with them. 

Referral.  If you request to be referred to another Agent or Brokerage, I will, after getting your written approval, provide that agent or Brokerage with your personal information.

Legal Disclosures. Finally, we may, without your consent, access and disclose your Personal Information, any communications sent or received by you, and any other information that we may have about you as may be permitted or as we believe in good faith may be reasonably necessary to comply with any law, regulation, rule or court order; pursuant to subpoenas or other lawful requests from governmental, regulatory or administrative agencies or law enforcement authorities (including in response to law enforcement or national security requirements); to respond to any claims, or to prevent, investigate, identify persons or organizations potentially involved in, or take any action regarding suspected fraud, violations of our Terms of Service, or activity that appears to us to be illegal or we believe may expose us to legal liability. Additionally, we may disclose Personal Information in situations that we believe to be emergencies involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or property, if we believe that your information in any way relates to that threat.

You may close your account by contacting me using the contact information below. Further, you may request that I or RE/MAX delete any personal information I/it holds about you. This request must be made in writing to the address provided below. Note that if you request removal of your personal information you will no longer have access to any existing account(s) and will not be able to use any related product or service. RE/MAX reserves the right to retain certain account information for its recordkeeping or compliance purposes 

Links and Redirection to Third Party Services

The Services contain links and may redirect you to Third Party Services such as Home Inspectors or Mortgage Brokers. Third Party Services are not under the control of me or RE/MAX, and we are not responsible for the data privacy or security practices of such Third Party Services, or how they may use the information you provide. Please be aware that when you enter a Third Party Service, any information you provide, including financial information, is subject to the terms of use and privacy policy of that site or service. 

Information Security

We have implemented reasonable security measures to safeguard the Personal Information you provide us. However, please keep in mind that we cannot be liable for the actions of third parties to whom I may transfer your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy. Furthermore, please remember that “perfect security” does not exist on the Internet, and accordingly we cannot provide any guarantee that your Personal Information or any other information you provide us will remain secure.  I will be happy to discuss with you, the Information Security processes or feature which I have implemented.

In addition, while we take reasonable steps to prevent third party companies from making unauthorized use of your Personal Information, we cannot be held be held liable for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the use and/or misuse of your collected Personal Information by those third parties. 

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL ANY RE/MAX PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, LOST PROFITS OR LOST REVENUE) THAT RESULT FROM THE USE OF THE INFORMATION OR MATERIALS ON THIS SITE, EVEN IF THE RE/MAX PARTIES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. 

International guests

If you are accessing my Services from outside of the Canada, you consent to the transfer of your information to Canada, and the processing, use, and sharing of your information in accordance with this Policy. In addition, if you access links to the global RE/MAX website in order to search for properties in other countries, your information may be transferred to or processed in other countries and you consent to such transfer and processing. Regardless of where your information is collected or transferred, the information will be treated in accordance with this Policy.
