I was born and
brought up in Glasgow, Scotland where,
after leaving high school and with my
hopes of a soccer career fading quickly,
I served a 5 year apprenticeship as an
Optical Instrument Maker prior to
studying for a Bachelor Degree in
Electrical Engineering at Strathclyde
University.
I have lived in and around Brampton for
more than 30 years and I have seen it
grow and develop from a medium sized
town to a major bustling city. My family
have attended local schools and
participated in recreation activities
from ice hockey and soccer to amateur
theatre.
Before getting involved in Real Estate,
I worked for many years in marketing,
negotiating and business development
worldwide with companies such as Litton
Systems and Alcatel.
I became a realtor because I wanted to
work for myself in the community. Also,
I got really tired of traveling. For the
last 20 years I have found selling
Brampton and Georgetown homes to be a
very rewarding experience. I am now with
RE/MAX Realty Services Inc. and also, I
am a member of the Toronto Real Estate
Board.
I joined RE/MAX for several reasons
including its commanding market share
and also the fact that more than 50% of
the properties which are listed with our
company are sold by our sales
representatives.
My hobbies include reading (mainly
history), jogging, web site development
and home renovations.
