Buyer Tip #1

What does your future lifestyle hold? How many bedrooms will you one day require? Your preschoolers will be teens some day. Are you planning to stay in your home that long? Determine your needs before you move in. It is always a good idea to work out what you are really looking for before you start house hunting. Sure, what you want can change as you get new ideas, however, a well thought out starting point can help avoid disappointment and frustration. So, you've decided you want to own a home. It's a popular dream. For most people, with the right planning, it can become reality. But there is a lot to know before you begin moving. I will take you through the planning process step-by-step, to determine exactly the kind of home that's perfect for you. I will ask you some questions, however, there are many questions which you should ask yourself to establish your requirement baseline. The answers usually fall into 3 categories; Location, Type/style and Cost. When working out your priorities, take care to differentiate between your needs and wants. For example, you may need 3 bedrooms because of the size of your family, but, you may have to settle for a semi instead of the detached that you want, because of the higher price of a detached home. There are usually many tradeoffs involved in this process.
